Answers for your IT and security team
Where your data sits, how it reaches your existing systems, what the AI can and cannot touch, and who stays in control.
Where does Arctory host our data, and how is it secured?
Arctory hosts your data in Germany on EU servers by default, in a dedicated environment isolated per customer: separate compute and database. Prefer to host it yourself? We deploy into your own Azure tenant or cloud account, or on-premises on request. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 or higher, and at rest with AES-256.
Can Arctory connect to our on-premise SAP or ERP?
Yes. Arctory connects to SAP, for example pulling orders straight into an app, and to other ERPs like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor and proALPHA, or any other service with a public API.
Does Arctory support SSO with our identity provider?
Yes. Arctory connects to your existing identity provider, so people sign in with the accounts they already have and you manage them in one place. Roles are enforced at both the application and the database level. Deactivate someone in your IdP and their access to every Arctory app is revoked.
Does Arctory use our production data to train AI models?
No. Arctory never uses your production data to train or improve any model. While an app is being built, the model sees only the application code and the data model, never the records inside your database.
Why use Arctory instead of Cursor, Claude or Lovable?
Cursor, Claude and Lovable are good at the first 10%, generating software. The other 90% is operating it: deployment, a hosted database, authentication, role-based access, versioning and rollback, and audit logs. Arctory does that part by default, on every app, so a prototype does not turn into an unowned system your team has to babysit. The Arctory Platform does not build proofs of concept or MVPs. Every app you build is a ready-to-use application from the start, not a demo that still needs to be made production-ready.
How much work is Arctory for our IT team?
Very little. You approve an app once, when it first goes live; after that you are not pulled into every change, and you keep one view of every app in production with the ability to pause or remove any of them yourself. Arctory takes the hosting, patching and upgrades off your plate for everything built here.
Does Arctory replace our existing internal platform?
No. If your team runs its own internal platform, Arctory does not replace it. It takes the hosting, patching and upgrades off your plate for what you build here, while you keep ownership and governance.
Is Arctory's AI-generated code maintainable?
Yes. It is real, readable code (React/TypeScript and Python on a real SQL schema, not a low-code black box), with authentication and role-based access built in by default rather than prompted in.
What does Arctory provide for a security review?
Arctory shares its list of sub-processors on request and takes your reviewers through the hosting, the data flows and the security architecture directly, working from the concrete details of how the system is built.
