Built by engineers who know the shop floor.
Arctory is an AI app builder for manufacturing, made in Munich. Its founders spent their careers at KUKA and Bosch Rexroth, putting robots, low-code tools and AI platforms into real plants. Now they build software that shopfloor teams can shape themselves.
Where we come from
- Studied at: RWTH Aachen University, Arts et Métiers ParisTech
- Experience from: KUKA, Bosch Rexroth, Volvo, L'Oréal, Aptar
- Founder programmes: STATION F, UnternehmerTUM, EXIST, TUM Venture Labs, EWOR
Eden and Johannes both trained as engineers, and both spent their careers bringing software into factories: Eden on the product and market side at KUKA and Bosch Rexroth, Johannes on the platform and AI side at Bosch. Arctory joins the two halves. AI agents build the apps, but the people on the shop floor decide what those apps do.
Eden Chabanet, Co-Founder & CEO
Eden spent more than eight years in robotics, digital manufacturing and industrial software before she started Arctory.
At KUKA she helped launch the company's first low-code platform for robot programming. She took it from requirements through pricing to go-to-market, then rolled it out across several European markets.
She also worked on autonomous bin picking, so she knows the operational and technical hurdles inside a factory up close.
At Bosch Rexroth she built the French digitalization business for end customers. She worked with manufacturers such as Volvo, L'Oréal and Aptar, on everything from cycle-time tracking and energy monitoring to IT integration, governance and cybersecurity.
Then she moved to the start-up side, as Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First (STATION F, Paris) and at UnternehmerTUM in Munich.
At Arctory, Eden leads business development, customer acquisition, positioning and investor relations.

Johannes Mohren, Co-Founder & CTO
Johannes started programming at ten. But he didn't study computer science: he took a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and a master's in production engineering at RWTH Aachen. He finished the master's with a grade of 1.1.
He then joined Bosch's group-wide AI trainee programme, with rotations in AI development, strategy consulting and industrial digitalization. There he built predictive maintenance solutions and designed a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system for industrial data.
Most recently he was AI Engineering Lead at Bosch Rexroth. He led the technical development of a production-focused AI platform with an agent-based architecture, then scaled it to more than 30,000 active users.
He knows manufacturing digitalization from several sides, because he has worked in plants, at software vendors and on industrial projects at MAN.
At Arctory, Johannes owns the platform architecture, the AI integration and the agents that build the apps.
